Our story
Built by a teacher who wanted better practice for students.
Preparing for Cambridge exams can be overwhelming — not because students lack knowledge, but because they lack the right kind of practice. EnglishExam.eu was created to fix that.

The problem
Students struggling with Cambridge exams often have enough knowledge — what they lack is consistent, structured practice in the actual exam format.
The platform
EnglishExam.eu launched as a focused practice tool covering all four skills across every Cambridge level, from A2 Key to C2 Proficient.
AI writing feedback
Added instant CEFR-level scoring and detailed writing feedback so students get examiner-quality insight without waiting for a teacher.
Teacher tools
Progress tracking and a teacher dashboard were added so educators can monitor student performance and assign targeted practice.
Values that guide us
Every feature must help students gain clarity and teachers save time.
Student-centred
Every feature is built around one question: does this help a student understand the exam better and feel more confident on test day?
Exam-authentic
Tasks follow real Cambridge exam formats and rubrics — not generic quizzes, but practice that mirrors what students will actually face.
Honest feedback
Students see clear scores and specific feedback after every attempt, so they know exactly what to work on next.
Why this was built
I created EnglishExam.eu because I kept seeing the same problem: students who were capable of passing their Cambridge exam, but weren't getting enough of the right kind of practice to feel ready. Textbooks help, but they don't replicate the pressure and format of the real thing.
This platform gives students access to full exam-style practice across every skill and level — with instant feedback on writing, progress tracking, and the flexibility to study independently or alongside a teacher. It's still growing, and I'd genuinely love to hear what would make it more useful for you.
